Privacy policy

What Twesocial collects, what it never asks for, and what you can ask us to delete. Last updated: 20 September 2026.

The short version

We ask for an email address and a public link. That is essentially the whole of it. We never ask for — and could not use — your X password. Your card details are entered on our payment provider's own page and never reach our servers. We do not sell your data to anybody.

Who we are

Twesocial is operated by CONNECT MEDIA LLC (licence number I90091), the data controller for the information described here. To reach us about anything on this page, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Your email address — given at checkout, or when you use the contact form or submit a review. We use it to confirm your order, to answer you, and to find your order again if something needs fixing.
  • The public target you give us — your X @handle for followers, or the URL of a public post for views and likes. This is information anybody can already see on X, and we use it for one thing: delivering the order you paid for.
  • Your name, if you give it to us in the contact form or a review submission.
  • Order records — what you bought, when, and the payment reference our provider gives us, so we can honour the refill guarantee and answer questions about past orders.
  • Technical data — your IP address, browser, device type and referring page. We use the IP to rate-limit our own forms against abuse and to detect fraud; the rest is ordinary analytics.

What we never collect

  • Your X (Twitter) password. We do not ask for it, we have no field to enter it in, and we have no use for it. Everything we deliver is public-side, so we never log in as you and never request account access, a verification code, or a connected-app permission. If anybody claiming to be us asks you for a password, it is not us — tell us at [email protected].
  • Your full card number. Payment happens on our payment provider's own secure hosted page. Card data is submitted directly to them; it does not pass through, and is not stored on, our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus a reference.
  • Your private messages, drafts, or anything behind your login. We have no access to any of it.

Your cart stays on your device

When you add a package to the cart it is saved in your browser's local storage, under the key tws:cart:v1. That is first-party storage on your own machine — it is not sent to us, and we cannot read it. It reaches our servers only at the moment you submit the checkout form, because at that point it is the order. Clearing your browser data removes it, and so does emptying the cart.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get read, where visitors come from, where a checkout is abandoned. Where they are enabled for this site we may also use WebEngage (order and lifecycle messaging) and Microsoft Clarity (aggregate usage analytics). These set their own cookies or identifiers.

We also set first-party cookies and storage that make the site work at all — your cart, and the session behind an order. Those are not optional in the sense that blocking them breaks checkout. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's own browser add-on.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share only what a partner needs to do its job:

  • Our payment provider — to take the payment and to handle any refund. They receive your payment details directly; we do not pass them on because we never have them.
  • Our fulfilment partner — receives the public handle or post URL and the quantity, so the order can be delivered. It does not need your name and does not receive your card details.
  • Our analytics and email providers — as described above.
  • Law enforcement or a regulator — only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect someone from harm.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we may need them to honour the refill guarantee, answer a dispute, or meet a tax or accounting obligation. Contact-form and review emails are kept in the support inbox until they are no longer useful. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's own retention setting. If you ask us to delete your information we will, except where we are legally required to keep a transaction record.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so everything you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to the support inbox and to order records is limited to the people who need it. Because we never hold card numbers or passwords, the most sensitive categories of data simply do not exist on our side — which is the strongest protection available.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your information we would tell you, and any regulator we are required to notify.

Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it — including opting out of any marketing email, which every such email also lets you do in one click.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority.

Email [email protected] for any of these and we will action it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

Children

This service is not intended for anybody under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from a minor. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our providers — payment, analytics, email and hosting — may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the "last updated" date above moves. Material changes are announced on this page.
